The offer includes the base iPhone 17, which is available for free with an eligible trade-in on 'Experience More' or 'Experience Beyond' plans. Additionally, the iPhone 17 Pro can be obtained for free by porting an existing number to an 'Experience Beyond' plan, requiring no trade-in. The entry-level iPhone 17e is also available for free when switching to most qualifying T-Mobile plans. While the devices are marketed as free, customers are still responsible for paying local sales tax on the full retail value of the phone upfront, as well as a $35 device connection fee per line.
