Nocs Provisions launches the Portal AFN7, a rugged, screen-free camera for hikers

Outdoor gear specialist Nocs Provisions has introduced the Portal AFN7, a compact, screen-free digital camera designed specifically for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. Weighing just 140g, the device features IP56-level weather sealing and a durable, rubberized exterior capable of withstanding harsh trail conditions. The camera is equipped with a 16MP CMOS sensor, a fixed-focus 28mm lens, and a unique mounting system that allows it to attach directly to Nocs binoculars and monoculars for telephoto capabilities. While it lacks a traditional rear display, it includes a small front-facing LCD for settings and a digital viewfinder for composition. The Portal AFN7 emphasizes a film-like aesthetic with built-in digital filters and is powered by a rechargeable battery capable of 2,000 shots. Priced at $179.95, the camera is available in three colors and is positioned as a rugged, minimalist alternative to standard compact cameras for adventure photography.
