VibeAudio: Adding Soundscapes to AI Agent Waiting Times

Developer Kiril6 has introduced VibeAudio, a tool designed to eliminate the frustration of staring at a blank screen while waiting for AI agents to process requests. The tool fills the 15 to 45-second 'dead zone' with synthesized, project-specific background music, providing auditory cues when an agent completes a task, encounters an error, or requires user input. VibeAudio features eight distinct genres generated in real-time via Node.js, requiring no external audio assets. It offers flexible integration options, including agent hooks for popular CLI tools like Claude Code and Cursor, a command wrapper, and an MCP interface. By providing outcome-aware sound notifications, VibeAudio aims to reduce context-switching and improve developer focus during AI-assisted workflows. The project is open-source and available for installation via npm, allowing users to customize their auditory experience while working in different project directories.
