New Polish jet-powered drone looks a lot like a miniature B-2 Spirit stealth bomber, and there's a good reason why

Polish defense manufacturer WB Group has unveiled the Gladius 2, a new jet-powered loitering munition featuring a distinct flying-wing design reminiscent of the American B-2 Spirit stealth bomber. According to the company, this shape was chosen for its practical ability to reduce radar and heat signatures, rather than for aesthetic reasons. The drone is powered by a turbojet engine, allowing for faster deployment compared to earlier electric-powered Warmate models. Designed as part of the broader Gladius reconnaissance strike system, the Gladius 2 carries a 30kg interchangeable warhead and is coordinated via the Topaz software platform. While Poland has been aggressively investing in domestic drone technology to bolster its defense capabilities, it remains unclear if the Gladius 2 is currently part of existing procurement contracts or if it serves as a future development platform. Performance specifications have yet to be officially released by the manufacturer.
