Anker Launches Solix S5000 Home Power Station with Preorder Discounts

Anker has introduced the Solix S5000, a high-capacity portable power station designed for whole-home backup during grid outages. Featuring a 5,024Wh capacity, the unit supports both 120V and 240V, with a rated output of 4,500W. Designed for portability despite its 96.8-pound weight, it includes wheels and a telescoping handle. The system is expandable up to 30kWh using additional batteries. Anker claims the unit can power essential appliances like refrigerators and lights for up to 48 hours. Recharging is highly efficient, reaching 80% in just over an hour via AC power, or utilizing up to 3,000W of solar input. The S5000 is currently available for preorder at a discounted price of $2,499.99, down from the $3,599.99 list price. Official sales begin on October 27, with additional promotional bundles available for orders placed between October 27 and November 9.
