While the standard Gen 6 model targets core flagship devices, the Extreme version is positioned as a top-tier offering for aspirational hardware. The Extreme variant includes exclusive features such as Adreno Matrix cores and Adreno Neural Fusion, which leverage AI to improve gaming performance and graphics rendering. Qualcomm stated that this tiered strategy allows OEMs more flexibility in product positioning. Both chips represent a significant generational leap in CPU and NPU capabilities, aiming to reduce RAM reliance while enabling professional-grade video codecs and sophisticated AI processing for the next generation of Android smartphones.
