New Apple TV Rumors Suggest Built-in Microphone and Speaker-Equipped Remote

Recent industry reports indicate that Apple is developing a refreshed version of its Apple TV set-top box. The upcoming hardware is rumored to feature a built-in microphone, which would allow users to issue voice commands directly to the device via Siri, eliminating the current requirement to speak into the remote or a paired HomePod. Additionally, the accompanying remote control is expected to receive a hardware upgrade, including an integrated speaker. This addition could enhance the device's functionality, potentially assisting with features like 'Find My' or providing audio feedback for system interactions. While Apple has not officially confirmed these specifications, the move aligns with the company's broader strategy to deepen the integration of its smart home ecosystem. These updates aim to streamline user interaction and improve the overall accessibility of the Apple TV platform.
