Meta introduces new privacy protections for Muse AI and smart glasses

This is particularly relevant as the assistant manages sensitive tasks like email, travel booking, and shopping. Additionally, Meta is bolstering privacy for its smart glasses by developing a protected server environment for AI features, utilizing technology similar to that used in WhatsApp to ensure data remains inaccessible to the company. These updates aim to balance the delivery of highly personalized AI experiences with the growing demand for data security. The company also reaffirmed its commitment to physical privacy indicators on its wearable devices, such as recording lights that disable video capture if tampered with.
