How I built an Autonomous Voice Healthcare Agent on FalkorDB that actually saves lives

Developer Roshni Mishra has introduced CareGraph AI, an autonomous voice-driven healthcare agent designed to streamline emergency triage. Built using FalkorDB, the system leverages graph databases to manage complex medical infrastructure, such as matching patient symptoms to specific conditions, checking drug allergies, and locating available hospital beds with specialized staff. Unlike traditional vector-based RAG systems that struggle with multi-hop relationships, FalkorDB enables high-speed, sub-15ms queries by treating medical data as a graph. The agent integrates with Twilio for emergency dispatch, Murf Falcon for multilingual voice synthesis, and LiveKit for real-time communication. By automating the reservation of ICU beds and notifying on-call specialists, the project demonstrates how graph-based reasoning can outperform standard AI chatbots in critical, real-world medical scenarios. The source code and a live demo are available on GitHub and Vercel for developers interested in agentic memory and graph-based coordination.
