GMKtec Launches Budget-Friendly NucBox M5 Ultra Mini PC

GMKtec has introduced the NucBox M5 Ultra, a compact mini PC featuring the AMD Ryzen 7 7730U processor. Starting at $330 for a barebones configuration, the device targets budget-conscious users who are willing to supply their own DDR4 RAM and SSD. Despite the 7000-series branding, the internal hardware is based on the older Zen 3 architecture, though it remains highly capable for its price point. The unit stands out for its connectivity, offering dual 2.5GbE ports, Wi-Fi 6E, and triple-display support via HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C. While it lacks PCIe 4.0 support due to the CPU's limitations, the M5 Ultra provides significant expansion potential with two M.2 2280 slots and support for up to 64GB of RAM.
