FinePrint is a new AI-powered agent designed to help developers navigate complex hackathon rulebooks. Built for the Sanity Challenge, the tool addresses the common issue of contradictory or ambiguous contest requirements found across challenge pages, FAQs, and official documents. By utilizing a structured Knowledge Base and a typed checker, FinePrint allows users to input their project details and receive verified feedback on their eligibility. The agent provides transparent citations for its findings, highlighting accepted facts and specific rule interpretations. It supports both curated rule packs and custom imports from any public URL, using deterministic guards to ensure accuracy. The project, built with Next.js, TypeScript, and Sanity, aims to minimize disqualification risks by clarifying requirements and identifying potential conflicts before submission. Users can test the tool directly in their browser, with features for multi-event comparison and rule-change rehearsals, ensuring developers stay compliant with evolving competition guidelines.
