Dyson launches new HushJet fan-purifier range with unconventional design

Dyson has unveiled its new HushJet line of fan-purifiers, marking a significant departure from the company's iconic bladeless loop design. The new models feature a chunky, curving aesthetic with a star-shaped nozzle inspired by aviation engineering, which Dyson claims minimizes airflow turbulence for quieter, more powerful performance. The range includes the large HushJet Big+Quiet Cool Pure+ Formaldehyde and two medium-sized variants, some of which offer heating capabilities. While the unconventional, Dune-inspired appearance has drawn mixed reactions for its aesthetic, early demonstrations highlight superior airflow effectiveness compared to previous iterations. The new fans are set to launch in the US and international markets starting in fall 2026, with prices ranging from $599 to $1,099. Dyson representatives indicated that these models are intended to complement, rather than replace, the existing loop-style fan lineup.
