The system uses an escrow mechanism where funds are released only upon a cryptographic signature from the recipient, which is bundled with a hashed audio recording of the recipient confirming the arrival of the donation. By integrating ElevenLabs Scribe for transcription, Cairn provides a tamper-evident, verifiable proof of delivery that requires no central authority or trusted intermediary. The project, built in Rust, emphasizes transparency and cryptographic integrity, ensuring that donors can independently verify that their contributions reached the intended destination. This approach effectively separates authorization from testimony, creating a trustless architecture for charitable giving.
