Broadcast and Get Hit, Go Dark and Void $65M: I Built NAVI-SANCTION with Sanity to Break the Deadlock

Developer Emma Sofia has introduced NAVI-SANCTION, an autonomous maritime arbitration engine designed to resolve the lethal contradictions faced by commercial vessels in hostile waters. Ships are often trapped between conflicting requirements: international maritime law (SOLAS) mandates continuous AIS broadcasting, military advisories suggest going dark to avoid drone strikes, and insurance warranties threaten to void $65 million policies if the vessel goes silent. Built using Sanity Content Lake and GROQ, the engine models these legal and operational constraints as relational entities. By executing complex graph-relational queries, the system identifies legal escape paths—such as emergency life-safety clauses—and commits immutable, cryptographically signed precedents back to the database. This project demonstrates how structured content and deterministic logic can provide life-saving, auditable decision-making support in high-stakes environments where standard AI search tools fail due to their tendency to blend contradictory information.
