Apple's iPhone Duo: MagSafe charging and battery performance details

Apple has officially unveiled the iPhone Duo, its first book-style foldable smartphone, priced at $1,999. The device supports MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging at speeds up to 25W, allowing for a 50 percent charge in approximately 30 minutes with a 35W adapter. For faster power, a wired USB-C connection can reach the same level in 20 minutes using a 60W adapter. The foldable features a dual-battery system managed by software, offering up to 24 hours of usage. Key specifications include a 7.6-inch inner display, an A20 Pro chip, and compatibility with Apple Pencil. Designed for multitasking, the device supports side-by-side app usage and includes a durable hinge for hands-free modes. Available in two colors, the iPhone Duo and its specialized magnetic accessories, including the Duo Case and Folio, will be available for pre-order on October 16, with general availability starting October 23.
