Apple has agreed to a $250 million class-action settlement regarding allegations that it misled consumers about the availability of Apple Intelligence and enhanced Siri features on iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 series devices. The lawsuit claims Apple marketed these AI capabilities before they were ready for release, breaching consumer protection laws. Eligible U.S. customers who purchased specific iPhone models between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025, may be entitled to a payout ranging from $25 to $95. To participate, users must submit a claim via the official Smartphone AI Settlement website by December 21, 2026, using their device's serial number for verification. While Apple admits no fault, the settlement provides a resolution for affected users. Claimants waive the right to future litigation regarding these specific claims. Payments are expected following a final court hearing scheduled for February 2027.
