Apple iOS 27 Release Date and Key Features Announced

Apple has officially announced that iOS 27 will be available for download on Monday, September 14, following its recent 'Surprise and Shine' event. The update introduces significant advancements, most notably 'Siri AI,' which leverages Google Gemini to provide chatbot-like interactions. Additionally, the release includes new AI-powered photo editing tools, such as spatial reframing, designed to enhance the capabilities of the iPhone 18 Pro lineup. Other updates include refinements to the Liquid Glass interface and improvements to core apps like Health, Photos, and Notes. The update is compatible with a wide range of devices, starting from the iPhone SE (second generation) up to the newly announced iPhone 18 series. However, Apple noted that Siri AI features will not be available in Europe due to regulatory constraints. Users can update their devices via the Settings app once the rollout begins at 10:00 a.m. PT.
